Loftis Partners is a 100% woman-owned human resources consulting firm. We work at the intersection of human resources, organization improvement, and social change.

I founded Loftis Partners after working internally as a strategic HR practitioner. Since 2020, I’ve worked with 60+ organizations across 15 states and 3 continents. I am the main consultant in our work, and I craft a team of contract consultants to expand our reach and capacity. My consulting approach is people-positive and forward-thinking.

With remote offices and asynchronous work, our work is no longer contained to the 8am-5pm workday. Therefore, our management practices, particularly in human resources, need to change. We need to bring our fully human selves to the workplace.

This starts at the organization level with a culture that is PEOPLE POSITIVE. In the past, employees were seen as resources that were trying to dodge responsibility and needed to be supervised at all times. This viewpoint of employees was rooted in a military style of command and control. It's time that we co-create new management practices that prioritize and elevate people.

“Our mission is to support humanity by co-creating workplaces where humans feel valued. If that resonates with you, you’ve come to the right place.”

Meet Sally Loftis

Sally Loftis, a consultant specializing in human resources, organization improvement, and social change, has made significant contributions in the realm of human resources and specifically in pay equity and workplace trust. I’ve worked for the last 30 years to support people in the workplace through integrity, knowledge, and relationships. I am committed to ensuring people feel seen, heard, and represented. This commitment looks like listening, reflection, and strategic focus in action.

This is evident in my multifaceted career. After graduating with a degree in Human Resources Management, I worked for a Fortune 50 organization in human resources and operations role, supporting a department that grew from 1,000 to 10,000 employees in five years. I stayed home for a few years as the primary caregiver for our small children. In that time, I worked as a freelance consultant supporting nonprofits with project management and grant writing in addition to extensive volunteer responsibilities.

Using my experience in these areas, I worked at a boutique consulting firm, supporting nonprofits with executive search, marketing & communications, and business strategy. When our family moved from a large city to a rural mountain town, I started as the first Human Resources Manager at an international craft school. I had the opportunity to build the human resources strategy and function from staff while also creating a strategic response for a transformational endowment gift focused on our employees. Read that story here.

I started Loftis Partners so I could spread my learnings across more clients and build greater capacity in the HR space with a systems-oriented approach. You can read the Loftis Partners origin story here. I recently completed a Master’s of Science in Organization Development where I was trained in research methods and organization design. My mentors are Edgar Schein, Margaret Wheatley, Peter Block, and adrienne marie brown. I hold tightly to this Margaret Wheatley quote:

When we take a step or make a decision, we are tugging at webs of relationships that are seldom visible but always present.”

My work is centered on tugging at these webs in ways that prioritize and elevate employees. You can read more about my pay equity in my book, The Pay Equity Guide for Nonprofit Organizations. I’d love to connect for a conversation. Book a free 30-minute call now.
